Simplifying Gear for You...

Gearu Goods emerged from a simple yet profound desire: to solve everyday problems for which we couldn't find ready-made solutions. It all began with my wife's invention that helped us identify our family's towels, no small feat with a household of five. And that is how the Towel Keep and our entire process began.

Our journey of innovation and problem-solving led us to experiment with various prototypes, and materials as well as learning CAD software and the power of 3D printing. Countless trials and revisions later, we arrived at our current designs.

We have witnessed the positive impact our products have had on our friends and family, and the path to make these solutions available to others became clear. This is where you come in. We invite you to join the those who have already experienced the benefit provided by the Seatbelt Catcher, Glasses Keep, Towel Keep, Pencil Keep and the French Cleat Jig.

How our products came to be

  • The Towel Keep

With 3 kids, my wife always...

...has a solution for organizing, identifying and maximizing things for our family. The Towel Keep evolved from chip bag clips which evolved from clothes pins clipped to towels at the pool or at the lake. Evolution makes things better and that's what it did for the Towel Keep. Now we have brought to market a durable, easy to identify towel clip that will hang on for dear life to your towels. What could be better?

  • The Glasses Keep

    In my workshop...

...I was constantly finding myself without my protective eyewear. Glasses were needed at the miter saw, table saw, grinder, sander, planer...pretty anywhere in a workshop. But it seemed that wherever I went glasses disappeared. So with the aid of a 3D printer used to develop the Towel Keep, I designed a simple, compact glasses hanger with an adhesive back. And the Glasses Keep was born.

  • The French Cleat Jig

Can't speak a lick of French...

...but I sure do aimer my French Cleat Jig. Learning the best of things on Youtube University, I found out that I was sorely lacking a French Cleat hanging system in my workshop. So I got to it. With each project I calculated my cuts, measured, cut and hung my next project. But with each subsequent project I had to recalculate my French Cleat cuts and angles all over again. So I cut to the chase and developed my own little cheat code...the French Cleat Jig. Next thing you know, friends and family wanted one too...

  • The Seatbelt Catcher

So I found out that my dad...

...was not using his seatbelt. Back and shoulder pain was just too much so he would rather take his chances while driving. I fired up the 3D printer again and started prototyping solutions. Some were were ugly as sin, some were no help at all and then there was the the one. The simple tool that made all the difference for my dad. So I printed more and gave them to friends and family - and it helped them. I now hope that they will help others...

  • The Pencil Keep

If you think glasses are hard to...

...keep track of, try keeping tabs on your carpenter pencils in the workshop. I'm the type of guy that has 15min to prep, build and clean up after each project. I simply cannot afford to search my workshop for pencils. So I modeled the Glasses Keep holder with a unique variation that hold carpenter pencils perfectly. And now I have my pencils at every tool along with my protective eyewear. Another problem solved...
